I had so much fun for creating this collage, I know, I've said that so many times before, but this time I mean it. ;) I used the images below, the transformation was so amazing. So there is not much difference between girls in earlier times and today, maybe the posture and the clothes are the striking differences. ;)

After tons of requests of more digital kits with individual .png files, I've finally started go through my digital collage sheeets. I will make digital kits of the most popular sheets. Even though they have been available in .png format also before, but not with individual files. These kits will be packed with full of fun.

Collage Obsession Challenge for this week is SURREALISM with a twist...and that's not all...
Rick wants us to create a surreal place BUT we must use at least ONE of our previous COLLAGE OBSESSION creations in total somehow in our surreal world.

I used Luigi and strange little people. But it seems that Luigi can't afford any fancy surrealistic scenery, so this is kind of poor man's surrealistic. :)

It took a while since I've made blog design for sale, free backgrounds and other blog stuff I do all the time, but custom design is something else, it takes quite a lot time. I'm not still able to do custom design, but I make some pre designed sets, they are all one of a kind, sold only once, so if you want to have a unique blog make over with matching Etsy banner and avatar, go and check what is available in my Etsy Shop. These are not the cheapest on the market, but for sure unique and nobody will pass your blog or Etsy Shop without noticing these sets.

I'm here in the sunny California with my beloved husband, but in my dreams I'm in snowy Finland. I miss so much my family, my son and daughter and little grandson, I miss my mom, dad and my lil' sister, and her family. I miss my aunts, uncles and cousins and their families. I miss all my friends there so far far away. You are far, but still so close in my heart. I wish I could be there with you.

Sunday Postcard Art Challenge for this week is Saint Nicolas. Santa Claus or Saint Nicolas don't mean much for me, since I come from Finland, where lives the real Father Christmas, or better call him Joulupukki, as the name is in Finnish. I know, that Americans think that Joulupukki lives in North Pole, but even children should understand that nobody could live there. So now you know better. Joulupukki lives in Korvatunturi in Finland.

Ma olen aivan innoissani uudesta tyokalusta, koska sen avulla voin yhdistaa kollaasiin myos piirustusta ja pastellimaalausta. Harrastin vuosikausia elavanmallin piirustusta. Piirustus onkin ollut mulle kaikken tarkein tyoskentelytapa ennen digiaikakautta.

Haastan Sinut Challenge for this week is that lady in long plaid skirt. I like my self more miniskirts, so I changed her skirt, but that was not enough. I wanted to practice more my pen tablet. I'm so excited about it, I can combine drawing and pastel to my creations. I used to draw a lot before I got hooked with digital working.

Zlightly Zetti

The Three Muses Challenge is Zlightly Zetti. I made my previous creation already quite zetti, but now I wanted to try something more. I bought a couple of days ago a Pen Tablet, and now I'm practicing of working with a pen instead of the mouse. I need a lot of more practice, but it's fun. I work mostly with Paint Shop Pro Photo X2, but I in this work I used also Corel Painter Essentials 4 and Adobe Photo Shop Photoshop Elements 6.0. And I surely need more practice with them too.

Sunday Postcard Art challenge for this week is Stripey Legs. I associate stripey legs to zettiology, inspired by inspired by Teesha Moore. I adore her art. I wanted to see how will my version of zetti look, I combined also some influence of steampunk.

I've always loved to make collages, long a go before computers, when digital photo editing was just an utopian dream. I see very much similarity with this creation with my creations in 70's.

I've been so excited about remembering my older collages, that I made some steampunk and zetti digital collage sheets. In this work I used elements from some of those sheets.
